Greetings AWS Partners,

The New York City Office of Emergency Management has issued a Travel Advisory for Tuesday evening, March 3, through Wednesday morning, March 4, 2015. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for 3:00 PM Tuesday through 2:00 AM Wednesday. A wintry mix of snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain are expected with this event and motorists and pedestrians are advised to use extra caution for all vehicular and pedestrian travel.

A second precipitation event is forecast for Wednesday evening through Thursday evening. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Wednesday evening March 4, through Thursday evening March 5, 2015. Rain will fall all day Wednesday and will transition to snow late Wednesday night. Snow may be heavy at times, and an accumulation of 4 to 8 inches is expected. New Yorkers are asked to exercise caution and be prepared for limited visibility and slippery conditions when traveling. Please urge your clients to stay indoors if possible and exercise extreme caution if they must travel. See attached Cold Weather Safety Tips.
